La Tour Eiffel

Vivienne and I spent yesterday afternoon, Christmas Day,in the environs of the La Tour Eiffel. Whilst we had seen it from the Seine two years ago, shrouded in rain and mist, it was good to join the throngs of tourists snapping away. We looked at more stalls and then enjoyed some drinks before going on a dinner cruise on the Seine. This was a great night and then with the help of a Indian postgraduate student managed the lengthy Metro trip back to Montmartre.
